Terms & Conditions
By using Mapper you agree to the terms below. They are intentionally short.
What Mapper is
Mapper is a free tool that helps you discover neighborhoods and spots based on preferences you set. It is not a real-estate listing service, a relocation service, or a property advisor. It surfaces ranked suggestions based on publicly available geographic data.
No warranty on data accuracy
The points-of-interest, neighborhood boundaries, and street names shown come from OpenStreetMap and are maintained by volunteers. Data may be incomplete, out-of-date, or wrong. Distances, scores, and rankings are computed from this data — treat them as guidance, not as survey-grade facts. Always visit and verify a place before making decisions about where to live.
Acceptable use
You may use Mapper for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't:
- Scrape large volumes of data via automated requests beyond normal browsing.
- Attempt to disrupt the service or the third-party services it depends on (OpenStreetMap, Nominatim, etc.).
- Republish or resell the underlying data without complying with OpenStreetMap's ODbL license.
Limitation of liability
Mapper is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service — including but not limited to decisions made about housing, relocation, or anything else informed by what you saw here.
Service availability
We make a reasonable effort to keep Mapper running but offer no uptime guarantee. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The version date below tracks the most recent revision.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes — to the extent permitted by law — is Berlin.
